Elena Delzer is an illustrator for publications such as Madison Magazine, The Isthmus, and On Wisconsin, representing important current issues and celebrating community success stories through an artistic lens. She has recently illustrated a children’s picture book, Always and Forever, available on Amazon.

Her current passion project is to represent beloved classic works in a fresh new way. She has recently re-imagined A Wrinkle in Time and plans to illustrate other classics such as Little Women and Pride and Prejudice.

Elena has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and is skilled at drawing, printmaking, and figure drawing. She hopes to share these skills and help the library community explore their own artistic pursuits.

During her residency, you will see Elena working in her studio in the main area of the library during Studio Time and her artwork on display. Additionally, she will lead programs for kids, teens, and adults.
