Summer Reading Program 2019

Kids Ages 0-11

Join the summer reading program! It’s a free reading incentive program where kids ages 0-11 keep track of the books they read during the summer and earn coupons and prizes by reading. The library also offers many free special events over the summer, like children’s entertainers, story times, crafts, and book clubs. This summer’s performers include Chris McBrien, Great Scott, Duck Otherwise, and more! To see all of our events, click here.

Summer reading is for adults, too!

Every time you read or listen to a book between June 10 and July 20, submit one entry form for your chance to win a $50 gift certificate from an area business. There will be two prizes each week. Drawings will be held each week after closing on Saturday. We’ll notify the winners the following week. You must enter each week to be eligible for that week’s prizes.

Win a gift certificate from:

Culver's - The Draft House - Verona Hometown Pharmacy
Hop Haus Brewing Company - Avanti's Italian Retaurant
Miller & Sons Supermarket - It's Time Pub
Monk's Bar & Grill - Purple Goose
Sugar River Pizza - Tuvalu Coffeehouse

Open to adults 18 years and older. Must be 21 or older to win the Hop Haus certificate.

The Summer Reading Program is funded by the Friends of the Verona Public Library.
